📖 Oral Q&A — Disclaimer
The Oral Q&A questions are known industry questions covering B777F systems and procedures. They are provided as a study aid only. Not all questions will be asked during your oral test — this depends entirely on your company, your check airman, and the type of check being conducted. Always verify answers against your GE90-110 B777F FCOM. Engine-specific limits in particular should be confirmed with official sources.

📝 Test Mode
Test Mode lets you take a timed, scored multiple-choice test drawn from the question database. To start, tap 📝 Test Mode in Settings.
Question count: Choose 25, 50, or 100 questions, or enter a custom number up to the full database size
Section: Test across all sections or focus on one specific system (e.g. Limitations, Engines, Hydraulics)
Score at End: Answer all questions without feedback, then review your full results at the end — best for simulating a real exam
Correct as You Go: Each answer is immediately marked correct or incorrect. You can't change your answer but the test continues and is fully scored
Results screen: Shows your score %, correct/incorrect counts, time taken, and a full list of every wrong answer — your choice vs the correct answer
Retake: Repeat the same test settings with a new random question selection
New Test: Return to setup to change settings
Memory Items and Oral Q&A questions are excluded from Test Mode — these don't suit the multiple choice format
New questions added to the app automatically appear in Test Mode with no setup needed
🔄 Getting Updates
The app automatically checks for updates when you open it
If an update is available, an orange banner will appear — tap it to refresh when you're ready
Updates will never interrupt you mid-session
You can also manually check using the 🔄 button in the header
If changes don't appear, try clearing your browser cache or doing a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R)
📲 Save as App on Your iPhone or iPad
⚠️ Use Safari only. Installing via Chrome, Firefox, or other browsers on iOS does not create a true standalone app — it opens as a browser bookmark instead, which may display incorrectly and won't behave like a native app.
Open study.b777f.app (or b777f.app) in Safari — not Chrome or Firefox
Tap the Share button ⎦↑⎡ at the bottom of the screen
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
Give it a name (e.g. B777F Study) and tap Add
The app will appear on your home screen and open full-screen without the browser bar — just like a native app
2 questions removed: ACGEN92 and OXY11 — errors in question content
2 Oral Q&A questions removed: ORAL-GEN05 and ORAL-GEN22 — not accurate to operation
3 questions removed: ACGEN76, ACGEN83, PPT01 — not accurate or applicable to operation
Test Mode: Exiting a test mid-way now shows a summary of progress so far rather than discarding results.

v2.7.3 (May 2026) ▼
Question and answer text reduced by 1pt to improve fit on smaller screens
Previous/Next buttons slightly smaller (padding reduced); text size unchanged
Limitations/Memory Items button font size reduced to prevent text wrapping to second line
Double-tap zoom on buttons prevented — added touch-action: manipulation to all buttons
Single-answer cards now show "(Not multiple choice)" label in multiple choice mode
Help section install instructions updated — Safari-only warning added with explanation, clearer step-by-step instructions
v2.7.2 (May 2026) ▼
Reverted v2.7.1 padding scope change — restored @media max-width:600px block; installed PWA and Safari back to working v2.7.0 state
v2.7.1 (May 2026) ▼
Scoped status-bar top padding to installed PWA only (navigator.standalone) — browser tabs no longer get the 59px reserve, removing the gap in Safari and Firefox; viewport-fit=cover unchanged so no white bar regression
v2.7.0 (May 2026) ▼
Restored viewport-fit=cover for all contexts — v2.6.9's split approach regressed Safari (white bar returned, header cut off); the app is a fixed-height shell so Safari and the installed PWA need identical status-bar handling
Top padding tightened to 4px/6px above the 59px status-bar floor — header sits as close as safely possible under the status bar on all iPhone models
v2.6.9 (May 2026) ▼
Fixed gap in Safari browser tab — viewport-fit=cover and status-bar top padding now only apply when running as an installed iOS PWA (detected via navigator.standalone), leaving normal browser tabs clean and unaffected
v2.6.8 (May 2026) ▼
Fixed header overlapping iOS status bar — the standalone media query never matched because the app uses a legacy web-clip (no Web App Manifest); switched to max-width: 600px so the safe-area padding applies on all iPhones in both the installed app and Safari
v2.6.7 (May 2026) ▼
Fixed header sliding under iOS status bar in installed PWA — iOS bug causes env(safe-area-inset-top) to report 0 in standalone mode; standalone-scoped media query now reserves a fixed 59px status-bar height so the header clears the clock/notch on all iPhone models including Dynamic Island
v2.6.6 (May 2026) ▼
iOS white status bar fix (attempt 2) — added viewport-fit=cover so page owns the full screen including notch region; status bar style set to black-translucent; anti-flash script prevents light-mode flash before JS applies dark mode; safe-area-inset padding added to body, settings panel, bottom nav, and container to prevent content sliding under notch or home indicator
v2.6.5 (May 2026) ▼
Fixed iOS status bar / notch white bar — CSS background shorthand was resetting background-color to transparent; corrected property order in 3 rules (html.dark-mode, html, body) so iOS has a solid colour fallback for the safe-area region
Removed duplicate theme-color meta tag
v2.6.4 (May 2026) ▼
Header tagline moved inline under the title text, flush right of logo — Boeing 777F · B-777-200LR · Quiz & Training
v2.6.3 (May 2026) ▼
SEO improvements — page title, meta description and keywords now include all Boeing variant names (777F, 777-200LR, B-777F, B-777-200LR) and quiz/training terminology
Added JSON-LD structured data for search engines to understand the app as a learning resource
Added visible tagline under the header identifying Boeing 777F, 777-200LR coverage
v2.6.2 (May 2026) ▼
🔄 Reset Session now also clears all flagged questions — use it for a completely fresh start
↺ Reset preserves flagged questions — use it to restart the deck while keeping your flags
Help section updated to document the difference between the two reset buttons
v2.6.1 (May 2026) ▼

Fixed: Active button highlight now restores correctly when search is cleared
Active question set button now clearly highlighted with bright ring indicator
Fixed Priority and Oral Q&A card chips — broken CSS corrected, both now correctly styled with pill edges, white text, and gradients matching their settings buttons
Oral Q&A cards now match standard card format — section name uses theme colour, question number shown, chip anchored to top-right corner
Added mobile sizing override for Oral Q&A chip (was missing, now matches Priority chip sizing)

v3.0.5 (Jun 2026) ▼
ACGEN153 (Q68) removed: Question about oxygen canister activation — B777F does not use chemical oxygen canisters.
ACGEN18 (Q84) removed: Question about active canister surface temperature — B777F does not use chemical oxygen canisters.
ACGEN19 (Q85) rewritten: "Cabin oxygen system" reworded to supernumerary oxygen system — B777F has no passenger cabin. Answer updated: 2 gaseous cylinders located in the aft cargo area.
ACGEN35 (Q100) rewritten: "Two gaseous bottles supply the flight crew oxygen system" corrected to four — AMM confirms 4 crew cylinders forward of FWD cargo. Caveat added: AMM states 4 crew / 2 supernumerary cylinders; FCOM may differ — verify against current documentation.
OXY08 (Q661) rewritten: PSU door question reworded — B777F has no PSUs. Rewritten to cover manual activation of the supernumerary oxygen system via the SUPRNMRY OXYGEN switch on the overhead panel. Answer: at any time.
OXY15 (Q668): Correct answer updated from 2 to 4 (flight crew oxygen bottles), options updated to 4/3/2. Caveat added: AMM states 4 crew cylinders / 2 supernumerary cylinders; FCOM may differ — verify against current documentation.
ORAL-ENG16 (Q1116): Answer corrected — "start lever OFF" replaced with "fuel control switch to CUTOFF". B777F uses fuel control switches (RUN/CUTOFF), not start levers.
v3.0.1 (May 2026) ▼
ACGEN92 removed: Question about heating compartments — error in question content, conflicting information.
OXY11 removed: Question about oxygen flow to attached masks — error in question content.
FLTCT34 (Q440): Question wording corrected from "locked on a high speed" to "locked out at high speed".
COMM07 (Q345): Question wording corrected from "handset" to "headset" — B777F does not have a flight deck handset, only a headset for PA.
FUEL09 (Q473) reworked + FUEL26 (Q972) and FUEL27 (Q973) added: Q473 corrected — scavenge pumps receive motive flow from main wing tank jettison pumps (post-mod 28-0078), not center tank boost pumps. Two new questions added covering post-mod self-test logic and ELMS 45-minute inhibit/scavenge timing.
ACGEN148 (Q62), ACGEN46 (Q111), AFDS61 (Q241), COMM09 (Q347), HYD19 (Q501): Question wording cleaned up — removed CBT narrator text, "However," and "In addition to" prefixes that carried over from source material.
ORAL-FIRE15 (Q1012) reworked + ORAL-FIRE20 (Q1223) added: Q1012 reworded specifically for lower cargo (FWD/AFT) with correct 5-bottle sequence and ground vs inflight discharge differences. New Q1223 covers main deck cargo fire — Class E compartment, no extinguishers, controlled depressurisation to 23,000 ft cabin altitude at 25,000 ft aircraft altitude.
ORAL-AFDS28 (Q1203): Answer corrected — Land 3 is fail operational (not fail passive). Land 2 is fail passive. Land 3 required for CAT III, Land 2 sufficient for CAT II.
ORAL-GEAR05 (Q1066): Main gear steering corrected from 8 degrees to 7 degrees.
ORAL-GEN25 (Q994) removed: Question about escape slide illumination lights aft of cargo doors — B777F does not have rear slides.
ACGEN104 (Q15): Answer corrected — on the B777F the Bulk compartment AND the Main Deck have no fire extinguishing. Main Deck uses controlled depressurisation instead. Question reworded to True/False format.
OXY01 (Q654): EICAS message corrected from PASS OXYGEN ON to SUPRNMRY OXYGEN ON — B777F uses supernumerary oxygen system not passenger canisters.
OXY06 (Q659), OXY18 (Q671), OXY19 (Q672) removed: Canister-based oxygen questions removed — B777F uses bottled gas oxygen system, not chemical canisters.
ACGEN23 (Q88), ACGEN99 (Q164) removed: Lavatory water shut-off valve location questions removed — location unconfirmed for B777F variant.
ELEC03 (Q356) and ORAL-ELEC21 (Q1047): Ground Service Bus questions reworded — CABIN/UTILITY switch has no relation to Ground Service Bus. Corrected to reflect Ground Service Switch location (Supernumerary Service Panel at door 1L), cold and dark operation, and that normal power comes from Right Main AC Bus.
HYD09 (Q491): Question reworded from "Center tank Primary pumps" to "Center Hydraulic system Primary pumps" — user reported "Center tank" was misleading and sounded like a fuel question.
ORAL-FUEL04 (Q1078): Question reworded to ask about fuel remaining per main tank after jettison automatic shutoff. Answer corrected to 3,800 kg per main tank per FCOM/CBT (center tank pumps to dry).
ORAL-GEN28 (Q993): Answer corrected — O2 mask mike activated by opening the right stowage box door (not left), remains active until right door closed and RESET/TEST switch pushed. Per FCOM.
ICE31 (Q550) modified + ICE41 (Q971) added: Wing anti-ice inhibit questions reworded per FCOM — (1) AUTO/TAT above 10°C: inhibited 5 min after liftoff, switch to ON will NOT override; (2) Takeoff/go-around AUTO inhibit ends when FMS transitions to CLIMB phase (auto or crew manually selecting CLB thrust on thrust limit page) OR 10 minutes after liftoff — whichever first.
ORAL-GEN05 (Q853) removed: MEL question removed — not entirely accurate to operation.
ORAL-GEN22 (Q870) removed: CVR test question removed — not entirely accurate to operation.
v2.9.0 (May 2026) ▼
ACGEN146 (Q60) removed: Question about determining lavatory door status via a CSS panel — not applicable to the B777F freighter variant which does not have this indicator.
121 new questions added across Aircraft General, Air Systems, Air Conditioning, ICE & Rain, Auto Flight, Communications, Electrical, Fire Protection, Flight Controls, Flight Instruments, FMS Navigation, Fuel, Landing Gear, Engines, APU and Oxygen. All questions include multiple choice distractors.
v2.8.1 (May 2026) ▼
ACGEN112 (Q24) removed: Question about CSS Door page and door arming status removed — the answer is inaccurate for the B777F variant. The Door Synoptic in the B777F cockpit does display M/A arming status, making the question misleading for this type.
v2.0.4 (May 2026) ▼
HYD50 (Q531): Question clarified to specify Left and Right hydraulic systems only. Answers expanded — correct answer updated to "Electric motor-driven demand pump (ACMP)" with plausible distractors including EDP, ADP and RAT pump. Source: Angle of Attack 777 Groundwork, Hydraulics
v2.0.3 (May 2026) ▼
HYD36 (Q517): Fixed correct answer — the amber FAULT light illuminates for any/all of the listed conditions (low pressure, excessive temperature, or pump selected OFF), not just low pressure
AIRCOND02 (Q281): Corrected answer from "seven" to "six" temperature zones per B777F FCOM
DIM01 (Q805): Added "normal" to question — "minimum width of pavement required for a normal 180 degree turn"
DIM06 (Q848): New question — minimum pavement width for non-normal 'Pivot' 180 degree turn (126.0 ft / 38.4 m)
ACGEN112: Added B777F variant note — Door Synoptic in cockpit does show if a door is M or A
v1.9.0 (Feb 2025) ▼
PPT42 (Q744): Corrected answer from "oil pressure and temperature" to "oil temperature" — autostart DOES monitor oil pressure (aborts if ≤10 PSI per FCOM)
v1.8.9 (Feb 2025) ▼
OXY08 (Q661): Added B777F variant note — SUPRNMRY OXYGEN Switch (no PASS OXYGEN switch on freighter)
ACGEN03 (Q3): Added "(optional or for passenger variants)" to cockpit security door panel answer
ACGEN04 (Q4): Corrected cargo compartments to "Forward, AFT and Main Deck"
ACGEN111 (Q23): Corrected to "Forward, Aft and Maindeck" for cargo containers
